  Timeline:

1825 - Earliest known date of existence. The house was built in 1825 by Burrell Sanders. The plantation home is one of the very few left standing by Shermans troops. Today the plantation and Beech Hill house are completely modernized in every way with the exception of the outward appearance of the house.
